Philosophy & Vision

Our mission is to deliver excellent teaching and training and to provide every learner with a professional high quality academic service. Our courses are designed to the highest standards and our trainers achieve excellent feedback throughout.

It is our aim to enable our learners to reach higher levels of success in their personal and professional development, gaining valuable skills to further their careers with recognised qualifications that are of value to prospective employers, and maximise their assets.

Our immediate objective is to offer qualifications of higher education to our learners in order to empower our learners with access to better employment prospects and create a workforce of valuable employees, locally and internationally.

To achieve this mission, the College has developed highly successful training methods for teachers, originally for those teaching EFL and more recently teachers of any subject. In addition to externally accredited teacher training diploma courses, the College has also developed its own brand of EFL teaching resources, which are available to Frisby College teachers worldwide. Learners are provided with access to further education, as well as advice and guidance on progression routes and the value of their qualifications.

Frisby College distance education is designed as blended learning: our distance learners meet their academic team for face-to-face seminars and lectures, to ensure all learners will reach their full potential.

Frisby College has a flexible leaning model for the delivery of higher education courses, where the learners can take one module or two modules at a given time. Moreover, our delivery of higher education courses are either 2 days a week full-time, or 3 evenings per week full-time, or 2 weekends a month full-time.

Frisby College has a reputation for offering excellent support to its learners throughout their learning path using the VLE portal and face to face. This includes advice on course choice, taking into account learners’ other commitments such as employment or family responsibilities. Staff place great emphasis on advising learners on their most suitable options to ensure best value to learners in regards to time, money and job prospects.
